Abstract

アスパラギン酸輸送を担うトランスポーターおよびそれをコードする遺伝子を同定し、さらに、そのようなトランスポーターを含む人工膜を用いる、トランスポーターの活性調節剤のスクリーニング法を提供することを、本発明の課題とする。さらに、そのようなスクリーニング法によって、アスパラギン酸代謝が関与する疾患の予防剤・治療剤の候補物質を提供することもまた、本発明の課題である。本発明に従って、アスパラギン酸輸送を担うトランスポーターおよびそれをコードする遺伝子が同定された。さらに、そのようなトランスポーターを用いる、アスパラギン酸トランスポーター活性調節剤のスクリーニング法、ならびにアスパラギン酸代謝が関与する疾患の予防剤・治療剤の候補物質を提供するスクリーニング法が提供される。
