Abstract

 ステント留置術によって狭窄部分に生じた物理的な損傷の修復反応を抑制するだけでなく、ステントに用いられる高分子の分解による炎症反応を最小限に抑制することで、慢性期においても再狭窄を抑制可能で且つステント血栓症などの重篤な副作用を生じないようにするために、生体内で実質的に非分解性の材料をステント基材とするステントであって、ステントは、ステント基材表面の少なくとも一部に薬剤を含むコーティング層を有するステントを用いる。
