Abstract

Disclosed is a method for producing a hard foam or the like having an excellent adhesion property and excellent foam strength in a low temperature range by a spray process using a tertiary amine and a specific metal salt or quaternary ammonium salt as catalysts. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a hard foam by a spray process using a polyol (P) comprising specific polyols (A), (B) and (C) and a polymer particle as a polyol composition and water as a sole foaming agent, wherein the polyols (A), (B) and (C) are as follows: the polyol (A): a polyol which is produced by the ring-opening addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide to an aliphatic amine or an alicyclic amine, has a hydroxy value of 100 to 800 mgKOH/g, and contains ethylene oxide at a ratio of not less than 15 mass% and less than 80 mass%; the polyol (B): a polyol which is produced by the ring-opening addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide to a Mannich-type condensation product and has a hydroxy value of 200 to 500 mgKOH/g; and the polyol (C): a polyester polyol which is produced by the polycondensation of a monomer comprising an aromatic compound and has a hydroxy value of 100 to 700 mgKOH/g.
