Abstract

　シールリップ摺動部に対する潤滑油の供給機能を高め、もってシールリップの耐久性を向上させる。この目的達成のため、ハウジング４１の軸孔４２内周に装着されて軸孔４２に挿通する軸４３の周面に摺動自在に密接する密封装置１であって、ハウジング４１の軸孔４２内周に固定される筒状の固定部１２と、軸４３の周面に摺動自在に密接するシールリップ１４とを一体に有する密封装置本体１１を備え、また固定部１２の内周側に嵌合される筒状の嵌合部３２と、嵌合部３２から径方向内方へ向けて設けられたフランジ状の油供給部３３とを一体に有する油供給部材３１を備える。油供給部３３は、シールリップ１４先端よりも密封流体側に配置されるとともに、油供給部３３の内周縁部における軸４３の上方部位に、油供給部３３に付着する油を集めて軸上に滴下させるための突起状の案内部３７が設けられている。
