Definitions

  • This invention pertains in general to the field of a implant arrangement, and in particular to a platform switch for implant arrangements. More particularly the invention relates an adapter, such as a dental implant platform switch, for attachment to a dental implant, said adapter comprising a threaded part for connection with a dental implant and a conical male part, corresponding to a conical connection surface of a female part in an implant with a conical connection platform.

  • Conical Seal DesignTM is a conical connection below the marginal bone level that transfers the load deeper down in the bone.
  • Conical Seal DesignTM reduces peak stresses and thereby preserves the marginal bone. It also seals off the interior of the implant from surrounding tissues, minimizing micro-movements and micro-leakage.
  • Conical Seal DesignTM simplifies maintenance and ensures reliability in all clinical situations.
  • the tight and precisely fitting implant-abutment relation of the Conical Seal DesignTM makes abutment connection a quick and simple procedure. The abutment is self-guiding and the installation procedure is non-traumatic, eliminating the risk of bone damage.
  • Conical Seal DesignTM is first implanted in the jaw bone of the patient, where after a spacer element is attached to the Conical Seal DesignTM.
