Abstract

　本発明の課題は、消費電流を抑制しながら表示の視認性を向上させることができ、長寿命で安定した品質の自発光表示装置を提供することである。 　制御部（１０）により、自発光素子で構成された自発光素子表示部（３０）近傍の照度が現在より高くなったとき、自発光素子表示部（３０）に現在表示されている背景とアイコンや文字を含むアイテムの少なくとも一方の表示色を、背景とアイテムの輝度差の絶対値が大きくなるように変更する。これにより、消費電流を抑制しながら表示の視認性を向上させることができる。
