Abstract
La présente invention relève du domaine du mobilier de bureau et de la maison, ainsi que de l'équipement de l'habitacle de différents moyens de transport et permet d'offrir un plus grand confort à un utilisateur d'ordinateur, un opérateur ou un passager en réduisant l'hypodynamie résultant d'une position assise prolongée. Le fauteuil d'exercice interactif de cette invention vise à créer des conditions permettant à des individus d'une vaste catégorie professionnelle et d'une large tranche d'âge d'effectuer des exercices physiques sur leur lieu de travail, dans un moyen de transport et à domicile. Pour ce faire, ce fauteuil d'exercice se compose d'une structure montée sur un support, d'une assise, d'un dossier et d'un appuie-tête et comprend également des capteurs de rythmes cardiaque et respiratoire fixés sur le coussin du dossier, des capteurs de mouvement et de charge fixés sur la structure, ainsi que des unités de charge de type à ressort, hydraulique et/ou pneumatique dont les contacts sont reliés, par l'intermédiaire d'un commutateur, à un ordinateur personnel ou à un micro-ordinateur intégré dans le fauteuil d'exercice et comportant un programme spécifié. L'application de force en alternance sur les unités de charge permet à l'individu de développer sa musculature selon le programme installé sur l'ordinateur ou le micro-ordinateur intégré auquel sont reliés, par l'intermédiaire d'un commutateur, les contacts des unités de charge, les capteurs de rythmes cardiaque et respiratoire, et les capteurs de mouvement et de charge fixés sur le dossier et la structure du fauteuil d'exercice.
