Abstract

There is provided a portable terminal device capable of reducing power consumption even when an application is set so as to perform complicated image processing. The portable terminal (100) can execute a plurality of drawing states each having a different drawing process to generate an image and comprises a drawing state information holding unit (640), a power saving determination section (621), a power saving control section (622), and a 3D drawing engine (630). The drawing state information holding unit (640) holds drawing state information including drawing states and an execution priority indicating a priority of executing the drawing states. The power saving determination section (621) specifies, according to the drawing state information, a control target state from the drawing states, the control target state creating a control state in which the processing load during execution of a drawing state is reduced. The power saving control section (622) brings the control target state into the control state. The 3D drawing engine (630) generates an image based on the control state.
