Ausführungsformen der ErfindungEmbodiments of the invention
Fig. IA shows a longitudinal section of an electric motor of a first embodiment, for which it is characteristic that a trigger acts on the quiver, before inserting a brush holder. The electric motor has a cylindrical motor housing which comprises a side wall 1, a front housing cover 2 and a pole pot 7, a rotor shaft 3, a commutator 4, a rotor 5, a stator 6, and a brush holder 8. When assembling the electric motor, first, the rotor shaft 3, to which a commutator 4 and a rotor 5 are rotatably attached, inserted into the housing. Then, the brush holder 8 is inserted into the housing and placed on the commutator 4. Attached to the brush holder 8 are at least two brushes 9 each received in a quiver 10 and biased by a spring 14 which urges the brush 9 out of an opening in the corresponding quiver 10. The quivers 10 are slidably mounted on the brush holder 8 and are in a mounting position in which the brush holder 8 can be placed on the commutator 4, without the brushes 9 brush the commutator 4. For this purpose, for example, a guide is provided on the brush holder 8, which is designed as a conventional rail, in which a sliding member runs and which is not visible in this sectional view. The quiver 10 and the brushes 9 are each retained by a latching device 11 in a mounting position. The latching device 11 is designed as an elongate elastic web, at the front end of which a latching lug 12 is formed and which is fastened in a recess 13 in the brush holder 8 is. The guide runs, for example, parallel and spaced from the recess 13 and can not be seen in this sectional view. In the mounting position, the latching lugs 12 each engage in one of the brushes 9 and one of the quivers 10 or in each case one of the brushes 9 and one of the quivers 10 abuts on one of the latching lugs 12. At the quivers 10, a trigger 15 is fixed in each case, which is designed as a V-shaped bent metal piece with two legs. The inner leg is connected at its end to the quiver 10, while the outer leg has a free end. The thickness of the outer leg increases towards the free end. The leg has, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the motor, which extends through the rotor shaft 3, a chamfer, which is directed towards the housing. During the insertion of the brush holder 8, the outer legs abut against the motor housing and are thereby pressed inwards. When the brush holder 8 is inserted so deep that the brushes 9 at least partially surround the commutator 4, press the outer legs against the quiver 10. The quiver 10 and the brushes 9 finally exert such a large force on the locking lugs 12 that this give in and the web of the latching device 11 is bent upwards, whereby the latching lug 12 is released from the quiver 10 and the brush 9. After the brush holder 8 has been inserted, the housing is finally closed by a rear housing lid 16.
Fig. IB shows a longitudinal section of the electric motor of Fig. IA after insertion of the brush holder. The quivers 10 are in a contact position in which the brushes 9 press against the commutator. The triggers 15 allow for a gentle release of the detents 12, for which a gentle increase in the force exerted on the chamfer is characteristic. The locking lugs 12 are each bent upwards in the recesses 13. The rotor shaft 3 is mounted in a front bearing 17 and a rear bearing 18. Electric lines are not relevant to this invention and are not shown for simplicity.
In the following, other electric motors are described. For identical elements, the same reference numerals are used. When assembling the other electric motors, the rotor shaft 3, to which a commutator 4 and a rotor 5 are fastened in a rotationally fixed manner, is likewise firstly inserted into the housing. Then the brush holder 8 is also inserted into the housing and placed on the commutator 4. For all the triggers 20, 21, 22 it is characteristic that they have a bevel with respect to the longitudinal axis of the motor, which passes through the rotor shaft 3, via the increasing force on the locking lug 12 with increasing progress when inserting the brush holder. 8 is applied in the housing until it gives way. Fig. 2A shows a longitudinal section of an alternative electric motor of the first embodiment prior to insertion of a brush holder 8 in a mounting position. A trigger 20 with a chamfer directed toward the housing is secured to one end of the quiver 10, which faces the housing, or integrally formed with the quiver 10. As for the electric motor 10 of FIGS. 1A and 1B, the triggers 20 act on the quivers 10, respectively, and the quivers 10 and brushes 9 exert sufficient force on the lugs 12 to yield Web of the latching device 11 is bent upward, whereby the locking lugs 12 are released from the quivers 10 and the brush 9.
Fig. 2B shows a longitudinal section of another alternative electric motor of the first embodiment prior to insertion of a brush holder 8 in a mounting position. auf den Kommutator 4 aufgesetzt werden kann, ohne daß die Bürsten 9 den Kommutator 4 streifen. Fig. 3A shows a longitudinal section of another electric motor of a second embodiment, for which it is characteristic that a trigger acts directly on a brush, prior to the insertion of a brush holder. The brushes 9 are in a mounting position, in which the brush holder. 8 can be placed on the commutator 4, without the brushes 9 brush the commutator 4. The further electric motor differs from the electric motor of FIGS. 1A and 1B by the triggers 22 and the quiver 19. The triggers 22 each have a vertical side facing the brush 9 and a chamfer facing the motor housing is, and are slidably inserted into a recess in the quiver 19. When inserting the brush holder 8, the chamfers of the trigger 22 abut each against the motor housing. When the brush holder 8 is inserted so deep that the brushes 9 at least partially surround the commutator 4, push the trigger 22 each so firmly against the brushes 9, that they finally exert such a large force on the lugs 12, that they yield and the Web of the engaging device 11 is bent upward, whereby the locking lugs 12 are released from the brush 9.
FIG. 3B shows a longitudinal section of the electric motor from FIG. 2A after the brush holder 8 has been inserted. The latching lugs 12 are bent upward in a respective recess 13. The brushes 9 are in a contact position and press against the commutator 4.
