Abstract

La présente invention porte sur des cellules souches mésenchymateuses (MSC) pour le traitement des maladies cardiaques chez un mammifère, caractérisées par le fait que le traitement comprend une administration de MSC ou d'une préparation pharmaceutique comprenant des MSC et qu'avant l'administration, des lésions sont introduites dans le myocarde dudit mammifère, lesdites lésions n'affectant sensiblement pas la fonction dudit myocarde. La présente invention porte également sur des MSC pour la constitution d'un stimulateur cardiaque biologique dans un mammifère. De plus, la présente invention porte sur une méthode d'implantation contrôlée de cellules souches mésenchymateuses (MSC) dans le tissu myocardique d'un mammifère. Cette méthode comprend les étapes consistant à : a) prendre une préparation pharmaceutique comprenant des MSC devant être implantées au dit mammifère, b) introduire des lésions dans le myocarde dudit mammifère, lesdites lésions ne gênant sensiblement pas la fonction dudit myocarde, et c) administrer ladite préparation pharmaceutique comprenant des MSC au dit mammifère par perfusion. La présente invention concerne en outre une méthode pour constituer un stimulateur cardiaque biologique dans un mammifère, une méthode pour traiter un dysfonctionnement du centre rythmogène et/ou une maladie dégénérative du nœud sino-auriculaire et/ou atrio-ventriculaire dans le myocarde, et des complications et troubles apparentés chez un mammifère au moyen de ladite méthode d'implantation contrôlée de cellules souches mésenchymateuses (MSC) dans le tissu myocardique d'un mammifère.
