Definitions

  • the present Invention refers to a set of modifications, having details that resulted in important improvements in the structural parts of an electrical panel normally used in different commercial or industrial sectors for mounting a variety of electrical and electronic components and devices.
  • tender for construction an electrical cabinet such as those taught in the following documents:
  • the present invention was created, which in its concretion defines a set with several innovative characteristics, starting with structural part, which, such as the others, is parallelepipedic and vertically elongated, but, in the improvement at issue, just one profile defines previous board, and another identical profile defines back board, wherein both boards are interconnected by other depth profiles, which transversal section is identical to profiles that form front and back.
  • Such boards are formed, each one by just one profile, that is, just a part of sheet that suffers several printings (holes and cuttings), several folds (profiling), wherein at least one side of profile, preferably the dorsal side, is continuously kept, but it has strategic cuttings so that the profile may undergo three folds in right angle and, then, the frame forms in a single part, which corners have constructive details for coupling fitting of depth profiles that interconnect said front and back rectangle squares.
  • one of the main objectives of the set is a technical and functional improvement in the structural part, mainly in the construction of frontal and back boards, where operations of weld and mounting are minimized, besides total elimination of connections in the joints and, further, eliminating the use of non-ferrous components that are incompatible with painting autophoretic processes, since, as it is known, this painting process has been initially developed for automobile industry, however, due to its advantages, its has been adapted to be used in other industries.
  • Autophoretic painting consists of covering ferrous metals with a (PVDC) latex paint in aqueous dispersion without intervention of electric current.

  • FIG. 1 the present IMPROVEMENT IN ELECTRICAL PANEL, was particularly developed for cabinet sideboard or electric panel (1) construction, indoor or outdoor, having all its sides closed by suitable side walls (2), upper (3) and back (4), including upper hooks for lifting (5) and one or more clamshells (6) having lockers (7).
  • Such closures including the doors are normally made of metal sheet substantially thin and, thus, as figure 3 illustrates, all electric panels internally have a structure of metallic profiles (8) where it is verified that such structure, as it is named, comprises the support and assembling means for parts that form external walls made of folded sheets, including doors, as well as it comprises the means of coupling of one to another as well as other accessories assembling, such as: upper and lower based closure and other non-illustrated components, and also inside this structure, also embodies the uprights needed for disposition of a vertical assemble sheet (9), that, together with the structure itself (8) consists of the means for internal distribution and assembling of all different mechanical, electrical and electronic components and devices (not illustrated)
  • any electric panel has internally a substantially resistant structure (8) for characterizing a cabinet or sideboard in keeping with internal equipments to be installed, however, it must also present efficient and economical means, so that its manufacturing and mounting may make possible the use of set in different situations.
  • the present improvement is initially characterized by the fact that said structure (8) is defined by two boards, a front (10) and a back (11), each one made in a single part wherein each board is made in just one profile (12) and, also, the front (10) and back (11) frames are structurally interconnected to each other by depth profiles (13) through disposition of coupling (14), wherein said profiles (12-13) have variable transversal, however, they are equally equipped with at least one side tail (12a) or (13a), in which the first is outward looking and embodies support for door sealing (6), while the other (13a) is inward looking and consists of fixing the assemble sheet (9).
  • Figures 6 to 10 show details from profile (12), which preferred construction is defined from a metallic strip (15), having several lines of longitudinal folds (16) that define quadrangular section (17) and the tail (12a) that comprises closure of said profile (12), wherein its sides and those tails may include or not different openings (18) and also said strip, (15) includes cuttings ordinarily in "V" 90° degrees (19) strategically positioned, as well as said cuttings (19) are distributed on both sides of strip (15), where they become aligned in pairs defining a line of transversal fold (20) between them, and each pair, one of the sides of profile or its section (17) is continuous (21) and preferably consists of dorsal side, opposite which said cuttings match to define four segments (A-B-C-D) to be folded in right angle forming a rectangular or squared board, not using connections on corners that form the board, once each corner of 90° is defined by folding the profile on that transversal line (20) keeping continuity in single part (12), such corners which internal sides, or cutting borders (19) including edges joints
  • FIGS 11 to 14B show in details the depth profiles coupling (13) with the corresponding corners of the front (10) and back (11) board, where it is verified the use of a connection in "U” (22), which dimensioning is cooperative for tight insertion inside the profile (13), wherein holes (23) and screws (24) grant suitable locking and, further, edges of said connection in "U” (22) have coplanar projections that form insertion points (25) which fit in corresponding rectangular openings (26) existent on the internal side of the frames (10-11), where fixation completes with weld and, further, optionally, an additional joint component is applied (27) with three tails disposed in 90° with their respective holes (28) and screws (29), so that said component (27) may be applied in each internal corner, where their tails are fixed in three adjacent sides, thus concluding an ideal fixation between bards (10-11) and depth profiles (13).
  • said mounting plate (9) for supporting different mechanical, electrical, electronic and other hybrid devices, in such condition, said mounting plate (9) is normally adjusted in specific point along the compartment defined by said structure (8).
  • said mounting plate presents on its four corners regularly anchored in lower supports (31) and upper supports (32), all of them sliding supported, respectively over and under the tails (13a) of depth profiles (13), where adjustable fixation of such supports completes with screws (33) applied in corresponding holes existents on supports and on said depth profiles (13).
  • Figures 16 to 18 show lower support (31) in details, where it is verified that each one presents in a shoe form having an intermediate horizontal sheet (34) longitudinally divided by lower wall (35), embodying a lower corner (36) cooperative to be adjusted in a sliding way over the respective tail (13a), where drillings tender means for fixation by screws (33), and further, on the upper side, intermediate sheet (34) includes male fittings defined by a vertically cubic projection (37) and, next to it there is a cooperative rounded pin (38), as figures 19 to 22 illustrate, for insertion in hollow recess (39) and hole (40) existent on the correspondent corner of the mounting plate (9). With such construction, regulation and fixation on the lower part of the mounting plate (9) is easily and fast done.
  • each one of them is formed by a sheet having several folds in right angle, in order to form two passages in integrated corners, a lower one (41) and an upper one (42), in which the first one with hole (43) adjusts on the plate thickness (9), where it is fixed by screws (33), while the other forms a horizontal extension (44) with a row of hole (45a) along with a tail (45b) guided downwards, cooperative for adjustable fixation under the tail (13a), finishing then ail needed means so that said mounting sheet (9) may adjustably be in any point of structure depth (8).
  • lower part of the structure (8) includes a closure represented by the bottom (8), which borders stay properly supported by internal side and in corners and respective components of fixation, consequently, all lower perimeter of the structure, including its four corners, stay externally free for disposition of just four feet (46), such as figures 25, 26 and 27 illustrate, where it is verified that each one of them is formed by a folded sheet part forming a squared shoe (47) which sides are upside folded in a perpendicular way, two adjacent ones substantially short and inwards (48) and other two adjacent substantially longer (49) outwards, as well as one of these two longer sides has the upper edge straight and with holes (50) for fixation against external side of profile corresponding to structure (8), while the other has its upper edge folded inwards and upwards forming a fitting corner (51) with an ear and respective hole (52) to be fixed on the internal side of the structure (8) and, finally, the four feet are interconnected by folded sheets parts of threshold like finishing (53) fixed by screws.
  • the four feet are interconnected by folded sheets parts of threshold like
  • Figure 28 shows in details upper lifting hooks (5), where it is verified that each one of them is printed in a sheet part ordinarily rectangular (54), elongated in height which upper edge is depressed by chamfers (55) and includes a hole embodying a padeye (56), while due to lower edge includes holes (57) for fixing through screws (58) along corners and sides corresponding to respective holes (59) from the squares (10-11).
  • Figure 29 shows a constructive variation for modified set of feet or shoes (60) of panel support where each shoe defined by a cut and folded sheet part that is ordinarily cubic-shaped, but having just three sides, where two of them are vertically adjacent (61), which lower borders are perpendicular inward folded and cut (62) to be matched as to for the third horizontal side (63), lower, with holes (64) so that each shoe may be or not fixed on any pavement, further contemplating the other holes (65) along upper borders on vertical walls (61), where screws (66) tender means of fixation of each shoe (6) along interna) side of each comer of the structure (8), where it includes holes for such purpose.
  • Such boards are each one formed by just a profile, that is, just one sheet part that undergoes several printings (holes and cuttings), several folding (profiling), where at least one profile side (21), preferably dorsal side, is continuously kept, but, has strategic cuttings so that the profile may undergo three folds in right angle, and, then, the frame in a single part, which corner have constructive details (14) for fitting and coupling depth profiles (13) that interconnect said front and back rectangular boards (10-11), thus finishing means necessary to minimize operations of weld and mounting of parts that form structure, which base adding just four shoes folded of sheet and strategically mounted.
