Description

PORTABLE AEROSOL FIRE-EXTINGUISHER
The Area of Technique
The invention belongs to the area of fire protection and concerns a portable fire-extinguisher.
The Present State of Technique
There are known portable fire-extinguishers consisting of one pressure tank, where an extinguishing medium is expelled from the tank by the pressure of gas or air. The extinguishing medium is discharged from the tank through the output nozzle which sets the form of the stream of extinguishing medium.
There is a known solution of gaseous-liquid fire-extinguisher, protected by European patent EP 1 257 326. The fire-extinguisher consists of a pressure tank with liquid, control valve and liquid nozzle. Subtly dispersed gaseous-liquid stream of extinguishing medium is formed as liquid flows through the nozzle.
Disadvantage of these solutions is a low performance - short reach and low effectiveness of fire extinguishing.
There is a known solution of portable fire-extinguisher, protected by European patent EP 1 479 414. It consists of a portable tank with a solid extinguishing agent and of a trigger. Initiation of the trigger releases heat from the trigger capsule. Reaction of heat with extinguishing medium forms aerosol to extinguish the fire.
Disadvantage of this solution is a demanding construction of extinguisher and need of single- purpose extinguishing medium.
The Matter of Invention
Portable aerosol fire-extinguisher eliminates the above mentioned disadvantages in current state of technique. This fire-extinguisher consists of a pressure tank, aerosol generator and output nozzle, and the matter of invention is based on the fact that in the pressure tank, which is connected to the entry of the gas to the aerosol generator, a lifting pipe is placed, output of which is connected to the entry of the liquid to the aerosol generator. Aerosol generator is described in detail in patent document SK 282655 B6 entitled DEVICE FOR AEROSOL GENERATION, in patent document SK 285519 B6 entitled DEVICE FOR AEROSOL GENERATION, as well as in European patent EP 1461159 entitled TOROIDAL NOZZLE FOR AEROSOL GENERATION.
Aerosol generated in the aerosol generator is led from the portable aerosol fire-extinguisher through an output nozzle. This output nozzle guides the outgoing flow of aerosol, creates the loss of pressure and increases extinguishing effect of aerosol. Water drops of aerosol are saturated with air, after they have left the output nozzle, they explode.
The output nozzle comprises small holes of diameter less than 1 mm and spread of these holes enables to form the outgoing aerosol. It is appropriate to place a cut-off valve between the aerosol generator and output nozzle. If it is required for the use of portable aerosol fire-extinguisher, a lengthening hose or lengthening hose with cut-off valve can be placed between the aerosol generator and output nozzle.
If the portable aerosol fire-extinguisher is used as a simple mobile fire-extinguisher, it is appropriate to place a lengthening two-medium hose or lengthening two-medium hose with cut-off valve for each medium, between the pressure tank and aerosol generator.
The Description of the Drawings
The invention will be explained in detail by means of the drawings in which:
Picture 1 shows a manual aerosol fire-extinguisher with a lengthening hose and cut-off .valve placed on the pressure tank,
Picture 2 shows a manual aerosol fire-extinguisher with a lengthening hose and a cut-off valve placed in front of the output nozzle,

Picture 4 shows a portable aerosol fire-extinguisher with a lengthening two-medium hose, with aerosol generator placed in the end of two-medium hose before the output nozzle and with cut-off valves placed on the pressure tank,
Picture 5 shows a portable aerosol fire-extinguisher with a lengthening two-medium hose, with aerosol generator placed at the end of two-medium hose in front of the output nozzle and with cutoff valves placed in front of the entry of media into the aerosol generator, ό
