Abstract
Disclosed is a membrane-electrode structure for solid polymer fuel cells, wherein an anode electrode is formed on one side of a proton conducting membrane and a cathode electrode is formed on the other side of the proton conducting membrane. By using a proton conducting membrane containing a sulfonated polyarylene having a specific structural unit, the membrane-electrode structure for solid polymer fuel cells can exhibit excellent power generation performance.
