Abstract
L'invention concerne la purification d'air intérieur par un procédé consistant essentiellement à forcer l'air à traiter à circuler à travers un milieu actif exposé à un rayonnement germicide en présence d'un matériau photocatalytique qu'il contient, à effet destructeur pour les micro-organismes éventuellement présents dans l'air et retenus dans le milieu actif tels que réduits et/ou fragilisés par impact sur des éléments de parois présents à cet effet dans le milieu actif. Un premier milieu actif est constitué par une masse réalisée sous la forme d'un réseau tridimensionnel de parois à surface photocatalytique et situé à proximité immédiate d'une source de rayonnement germicide. Un second milieu actif est constitué par une masse liquide dans laquelle sont dispersées des particules à surface photocatalytique et qui est éclairée par un rayonnement germicide. Un brassage de la masse liquide est provoqué en y admettant l'air de manière à générer un vortex.
