Abstract

A water repellent article that excels in water repellency and water slip (waterdrop slip property), ensuring high durability; and, provided with the same, a window glass for construction and window glass for vehicle. The water repellent article is characterized in that it is obtained by providing on a substratum a void layer with void structure substantially composed of an inorganic material and thereafter impregnating void portions of the void layer with a water repellent material.
