Abstract
環境温度を検出する温度検出素子21と、耳腔内の温度測定部位から放射される赤外線を検出する赤外線検出素子22とをプローブ3に内蔵し体温を測定する耳式体温計であって、プローブに対して着脱自在に設けられるプローブカバー10と、プローブカバーがプローブに対して脱離又は装着されたことを検知する検知スイッチ60と、2つの検出素子の検出結果に基づく体温を補正するための温度換算係数52a、52bとを備える。また、プローブカバーがプローブに対して脱離又は装着されたことを検知する検知スイッチ60と、2つの検出素子の検出結果に基づく体温を補正する温度換算係数52aと、プローブカバーが使用限度回数内であるか否かを実使用回数に基づいて判断する制御部50と、使用限度回数を超えるとプローブカバーの交換を促すように警告するためのスピーカ12または液晶表示部とを備える。
