Abstract

【課題】有機電界発光素子内に残留した内部光を利用して内部における消費電力を低減するとともに有機電界発光層の電界発光効率を向上させること。 【解決手段】複数の電極46,52間において積層されており印加電圧において複数の電極46,52間に生じた電界によって発光する有機電界発光層49及び、この有機電界発光層49の周囲に配置し、この有機電界発光層49によって放出された光のうち透明或いは半透明な電極46から外部に放出されずに内部に残留した内部光Lを利用し、光電変換機能によって発電を行う発電半導体部53を備えている。
