Abstract
Ein Energiespeicher kann in einem f luiddichten Gehäuse angeordnet sein in dem eine elektrische Maschine (90) mit einem Läufer und einem Ständer aufgenommen ist. Der Ständer ist dabei von dem Läufer durch einen Luftspalt getrennt und weist wenigstens eine Ständerspule auf. Der Läufer kann von dem Ständer umgeben sein. Ausserdem kann der Läufer einer Schwungmasse zugeordnet sein und mit einem Kühlf luid-Reservoir in Verbindung stehen, wobei aus dem Kühlf luid-Reservoir bei rotierendem Läufer Kühlfluid zu dem Läufer gelangen kann um diesen zu kühlen. In dem Gehäuse kann eine Wärmetauschereinrichtung aufgenommen sein um Kühlfluid abzukühlen, nachdem es mit dem Läufer in Kontakt gewesen ist.
