Abstract
The invention relates to a device (100) for the tactile activation of an alarm. Said device (100) comprises a housing (110), a control element (120) disposed inside the housing (110), and a protective element (130) attached on the housing (110) and covering the control element (120) such that the protective element (130) must be destroyed before an operator is able to actuate the control element (120). The protective element (130) is structured such that injuries to the operator when manually destroying the protective element (130) are preventable. The protective element (130) preferably has a crash glass. The crash glass may be an artificial resin or a mixture of various artificial resins that affect one another when mixed such that at least one of the artificial resins is structurally altered.
