Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil destinés à coder et à décoder une image. Le procédé de codage d'une image consiste: à produire un premier bloc résiduel d'un bloc de courant au moyen de l'intraprédiction et de l'interprédiction; à coder à perte le premier bloc résiduel en domaine de fréquence; à décoder le premier bloc résiduel codé et à restaurer un second bloc résiduel en domaine de pixel; et à coder de façon entropique le second bloc résiduel restauré. Ainsi, une image peut aisément être restaurée sur la base de l'addition et de la réduction de domaine de pixel sans opérations d'inversion de complexe dans le domaine de fréquence lors du décodage de l'image codée.
