Abstract

The invention relates to a spur gear differential (4) comprising a planetary drive which has a first planet carrier (8) as a sum shaft (9) and two sun gears (19, 20) as the difference shafts (10, 11). At least one first set of rotatable planetary gears (12) and a second set of rotatable planetary gears (13) is received on a first planet carrier (8), planetary gears (12) of the first set engaging in planetary gears (13) of the second set and at the same time planetary gears (12) of the first set engaging with a first sun gear (19) and planetary gears (13) of the second set engaging with a second sun gear (20). The spur gear differential (4) comprises at least one second planet carrier (6) with at least one third set of rotatably received planetary gears (7), the planet carriers (6, 8) being arranged axially juxtaposed on a common rotational axis (14) and being rotatable about the rotational axis (14) in relation to each other. The teeth of the planetary gears (7) of the third set engage at the same time with the planetary gears (12, 13) of one of the sets of the spur gear differential (4) by means of one and the same toothed section (49, 57) formed on one of the sun gears (19, 20).
