Abstract

 本発明は、高画素の撮像素子に対応可能で、また変倍駆動装置の負荷を減らして十分なコンパクト化を達成しつつ、変倍域全域にわたって収差が良好に補正されると共に環境温度変化に伴うバックフォーカス変動を抑え得る変倍光学系を提供する。このため、変倍光学系は、物体側から順に、負の光学的パワーを有する第1レンズ群と、正の光学的パワーを有する第2レンズ群とを含み、前記第1レンズ群は、少なくとも1枚の正レンズと少なくとも1枚の負レンズとの2枚以上のレンズで構成され、且つ、これらレンズの少なくとも2枚以上がプラスチック材料からなり、前記第2レンズ群内に、少なくとも1面が非球面であるガラスレンズが少なくとも1枚含まれている。
