Abstract
An image processing method for removing a noise component includes: a step of extracting a noise component contained in an original image in a work color space; a step of creating a noise-removed image according to the extracted noise component; a step of converting the noise-removed image from the work color space into an output color space having different gradation characteristic from the work color space; and a step of creating a noise-removed image according to the extracted noise component and a difference between gradation characteristic of the work color space and gradation characteristic of the output color space.
