Abstract

A substance transfer device capable of transferring per unit area and unit time a large amount of substance without causing damage on the substance and, in addition, capable of vigorously discharging the substances, having been transferred to an exit, from the exit. A rotation member rotates about a straight line (36) (imaginary line) passing through both the center of the circular top face (32) of the rotation member and the center of the circular bottom face (34) of the rotation member. A helical blade (250) is formed on the outer peripheral face of the rotation member, and the blade rotates together with the rotation member. The blade helically extends from the forward end of the outer peripheral face of the rotation member to the rearward end (from end to end). The blades expands from the outer peripheral face of the rotation member to a position close to the inner peripheral surface of a housing and is adapted such that there is almost no leakage of the substance from the gap between the forward end of the blade and the inner peripheral surface. The distance d between the surfaces of opposed portions of the blade is made such that the closer the portions to the exit, the greater the distance. A helically extending second blade (252) is provided on the outer peripheralface of the rotation member, extending over a portion lying from a position intermediate between an entrance and the exit up to the exit.
