Abstract

【課題】開頭手術において、患者に対する負担を小さくしながら手術を安全かつ簡単に行えるようにするとともに、固定具などに頼ることなく骨弁だけで閉頭できる頭蓋骨切断装置を提供する。 【解決手段】  レーザによって頭蓋骨を切断するための頭蓋骨切断装置であって、レーザ発振器200から光ファイバ300を介して導入されたレーザRを、先端部に設けた射出口1aから射出するボディ1と、前記ボディ1に設けられ、頭蓋骨表面に所定態様で接触させることによって頭蓋骨Pの表面と射出口1aとの距離が所定距離となるように当該ボディ1の姿勢を定める接触部2と、前記ボディ1からレーザRの射出方向に向かって、当該レーザRの光路を避けながら延出する所定長さの支持バー31と、その支持バー31の先端に設けられてレーザ光路に干渉し、レーザRのそれ以上の進行を止める光遮断板32と、を備えるようにした。
