Abstract

【課題】正確な時間情報を得ることが出来るTOF-PETを提供する。 【解決手段】 上昇時間のばらつきのある光電子増倍管について選別を行ない、上昇時間差が最小になるようにリング状に配置するようにした。それにより、シンチレータ光が複数の光電子増倍管に入射した場合であっても、その合計の信号出力の上昇時間Σtrはばらつくことがないため、放射線検出器の間で上昇時間の差Δεを補正データとしてあらかじめ持たせることにより実際に計測する際には補正することが可能である。以上のような方法をとることにより、正確な時間情報を得ることができTOF-PET装置を提供することが可能である。
