Abstract
Disclosed is a slurry for use in the formation of an electrode for a battery which is hardly decreased in capacity even when the battery is stored in a charged state or undergoes repeated charge and discharge. Also disclosed is a battery having an electrode prepared by using the slurry. Specifically disclosed is a slurry for use in the formation of an electrode for a battery having an organic radical polymer as an electrode active material. The slurry can be prepared by using a mixed material comprising an organic radical polymer and a conductive-imparting agent, wherein the mixed material is prepared by adding the conductivity-imparting agent to the organic radical polymer in a sol or gel state, mixing the mixture and drying the resulting product.
