Abstract
A control section (11) of an image quality adjusting device (10) calculates a gamma/white balance setting profile (101) for making the gamma characteristics (92) and the white balance characteristics (93) of a target device (50) to be proximate to the gamma characteristics (82) and the white balance characteristics (83) of a reference device (30), respectively. The control section (11) calculates a color management setting profile (102) for making the color management characteristics of the target device (50) to be proximate to the color management characteristics (81) of the reference device (30), by using the gamma/white balance setting profile (101), panel color management characteristics (91), video signal conversion characteristics (94) and the color management characteristics (81) of the reference device (30).
