Abstract
本発明は、大型の表示装置用基板の製造に容易に対応することができるとともに、表示むらを低減することができる表示装置用基板の製造方法、及び、表示装置の製造方法を提供する。本発明の表示装置用基板の製造方法は、基板上に隔壁で囲まれた複数の機能膜を備える表示装置用基板を製造する方法であって、上記製造方法は、表示装置用基板を複数の機能膜配置領域を含む二以上の塗布領域に分け、上記機能膜配置領域に液状機能膜材料を塗布する処理を塗布領域毎に行う工程を含み、上記塗布工程は、塗布領域同士の境界の少なくとも一部を非直線状にするものである。
