Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektrischen Steckverbinder, mit einem Steckerteil (2) und einem mit dem Steckerteil zusammensteckbaren Gegensteckerteil (4), sowie mit einer vom Steckerteil getragenen Überwurfmutter (3) zum Verschrauben des Steckerteils mit einer Gewindehülse (5) des Gegensteckerteils. Dabei weisen ein Außengewinde (11) der Gewindehülse und ein korrespondierend ausgebildetes Innengewinde (12) der Überwurfmutter mindestens je einen in Steckrichtung vorgesehenen gewindefreien Bereich (13, 14) auf. Die jeweiligen gewindefreien und gewindetragenden Bereiche sind derart ausgebildet und angeordnet, dass die gewindetragenden Bereiche der Überwurfmutter bzw. der Gewindehülse in die jeweiligen gewindefreien Bereich des anderen Steckverbinderteils für das Zusammenstecken von Stecker und Gegenstecker einführbar sind. Bei dem vorgeschlagenen Steckverbinder ist in Steckrichtung vor dem mindestens einen gewindefreien Bereich der Überwurfmutter mindestens ein erhabener Ringbundabschnitt (20) angeordnet, der ein Drehen der Überwurfmutter bei zusammengesteckten Steckverbinder erst ermöglicht, wenn der Ringbundabschnitt den gewindefreien Bereich des Gewindes der Gewindehülse passiert hat.
