Abstract

Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Steckverbindersystem (10), insbesondere einem optischen Steckverbindersystem (10), mit einer Buchsenkörpereinheit (12), welche zumindest einen Buchsenkörper (14), aufweist, der zumindest eine Steckeröffnung (16) zur Aufnahme zumindest eines Steckers (18) umfasst, und mit zumindest einer Elektronikeinheit (20), welche zu einer Ermittlung eines Steckzustands des Steckers (18) vorgesehen ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Buchsenkörper (14) zumindest eine Ausnehmung (22) aufweist, in welcher zumindest ein Abschnitt (24) der Elektronikeinheit (20) in einem montierten Zustand zumindest teilweise angeordnet ist.
