Abstract

 ハイブリッド自動車用途に供される、具体的には車体の駆動モータの電源として使用される、ニッケル-水素電池の負極材料として用いられる水素吸蔵合金は、CaCu5型の結晶構造を有するAB5型水素吸蔵合金であって、一般式RNiaCobAlcMnd(R:希土類金属の混合物)において4.15≦a≦4.4、0.15≦b≦0.35、1≦c/d≦1.7、5.25≦a+b+c+d≦5.45で表される。
