Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To provide an exercise device with which the upper and lower parts of the body can be exercised simultaneously and efficiently. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The exercise device comprises a saddle portion (2) equipped with a saddle (11) on which a user sits and a column (12) for supporting the saddle (11), a pedal crank portion (3) equipped with a pair of pedals (64) on which a user places the feet and performs rotation exercise, a handle portion (4) equipped with a grip (55) being gripped by the palm of the user, and a base frame (5) to which each portion is fixed. The exercise device is further provided with a means (6) for supporting the saddle portion (2) on the base frame (5) rotatably along the horizontal direction, and a transmission mechanism (7) for oscillating the saddle portion (2) along the horizontal direction in conjunction with the rotation exercise at the pedal crank portion (3).
