Abstract

The invention relates to a rotor (24) for a rotary electric machine (20) mainly for the automotive industry, that comprises a front polar wheel (46N) and a rear polar wheel (46S), each polar wheel (46N, 46S) including claws (52) extending axially towards the other polar wheel (46S, 46N), each claw (52) of a polar wheel (46S, 46N) being circumferentially interleaved between two claws (52) of the other polar wheel (46S, 46N), at least one interpolar gap (62) being provided between the side faces (60) opposite two successive claws (52), and at least one member (68) defining a magnetic barrier being provided in the interpolar gap (62), characterised in that said member (68) is carried by a holder (90, 120) that comprises a ventilation member or a noise reduction member.
