Abstract

The invention relates to a rotating electric machine (10) comprising a stator (20) having a plurality of poles (28), and a rotor (30) having a plurality of poles (32, 38), wherein at least either a first pole (28) of the stator (20) has a width that differs from a width of a second pole (28) of the stator (20), or a first pole (32, 38) of the rotor (30) has a width that differs from a width of a second pole (32, 38) of the rotor (30).
