Abstract

 本発明は、セパレータ内で分岐した酸化剤ガス通路および燃料ガス通路により、並列配置された複数の発電セル各々に酸化剤ガスおよび燃料ガスを供給する固体酸化物形燃料電池に関する。本発明によれば、セパレータのガスシール箇所を、酸化剤ガス孔と燃料ガス孔の2カ所のみとすることができるため、セパレータのシール構造を簡素化することができる。また、本発明は、スタック内部に発電反応後の排ガスが積層方向に流通する排ガス流路を設け、当排ガス流路における積層方向の一方側へのガス流通量を他方側へのガス流通量より多くした固体酸化物形燃料電池に関する。本発明によれば、スタック内部を積層方向に流通する排ガスにより、スタックの中段部の熱を奪い温度を低下させると共に、スタックの端部を加熱し温度を上昇させることにより、スタックの積層方向の温度分布を均一化することができる。
