Abstract

【課題】本発明は、蒸発法による海水淡水化装置において、海水中に含まれるスケール成分に起因するノズルの目詰まりなどのトラブルを回避しつつ、海水を簡便に且つ安定したミスト化を実現することによって、海水淡水化装置の保守コストを低減することを可能にする蒸発装置を提供することを目的とする。 【解決手段】羽根車として構成されるタービンに対しノズルから海水を導入してタービンを高速回転させる。高速で回転するタービンの羽根が海水の液滴と衝突することによって液滴の分裂を好適に促進され、また、分裂し微粒化した水滴は、その回転に伴う遠心力によって空気中に放散される。放散された水滴は、海水淡水化装置の減圧容器(蒸発部)の空間を浮遊する間に、その表面から拡散によって蒸発する。
