Abstract

It is possible to obtain power modulation characteristic at which the efficiency is maximum and the difference is minimum. An amplification circuit includes: a power modulation unit (31) which decides a power modulation voltage v(n) supplied to an amplifier (22) according to an amplifier input signal u(n); a distortion compensation unit (30) which performs distortion compensation of the amplifier (22) according to an amplifier model (32a); and a control unit (32) which controls the power modulation unit (31) and the distortion compensation unit (30). The control unit (32) is configured so as to identify the amplifier model (32a) according to the output signal z(n) and the input signal U(n) of the amplifier (22) and the power modulation voltage v(n) supplied to the amplifier (22) and to control a parameter for deciding the power modulation voltage v(n) according to the amplifier model (32a).
