Abstract

【課題】カメラ設置態様の自由度を大幅に向上する。 【解決手段】画像変換部（２３）は、入力制御部（２８）に入力された指示信号（４３）に基づき変換パラメータ格納部（２９）に記憶された変換パラメータを読み出し、この読み出した変換パラメータを用いて画像取得部（２１）で取得した後方画像データ（９）の変換処理を行い、変換画像データ（２７）を生成する。これにより、ユーザが操作スイッチ（４０）を用いて指示信号（４３）を生成することにより所望の変換処理を行うことができる。その結果、予め設定された設置態様以外の態様でカメラ（１０）が設置された場合でも、その設置態様に応じてユーザが後方画像を調整することができる。したがって、カメラ（１０）の設置態様の自由度を大幅に向上することができる。
