Abstract
A fire protection system (1) comprises a container (2) which is filled with a fire extinguishant (3) and which contains a detonator (4). The system (1) also comprises an activating energy guiding member (5) which is mounted at least to the external side of the container (2) both in an inactive and an active condition of the system (1). The system (1) comprises connecting means (6) for connecting the activating energy guiding member (5) to the detonator (4) so as to activate the system (1). The fire protection system (1) is save to handle in the inactive condition, such as during transport or storage, while it is simple to activate.
