　様々なＷｅｂサーバから提供されるＷｅｂページに足跡を付けることができる足跡提供装置を提供する。 　ＷｅｂページＢをブラウザで閲覧可能なクライアント端末２０にネットワーク６０を介して接続され、Ｗｅｂサーバ５０からＷｅｂページＢを受信したクライアント端末２０のブラウザに対して、このブラウザによるＷｅｂページの閲覧要求とは非同期になされた要求に対する応答として、クライアント端末２０のブラウザに受信されたＷｅｂページＢの一部に書き込み可能な足跡データを送信することを特徴とする足跡提供装置である。
