Abstract

A session charging method, system and device. When a server receiving a session initiating request from a terminal, the server sends a charging request including a session initiation type of the terminal to a charging function device. The charging function device performs a corresponding charging strategy based on the received session initiation type carried in the charging request. The terminal can carry the session initiation type in the session initiation request, so that the session initiation type carried in the charging request sent by the server can be obtained from the session initiation request directly, and the server can also judge the type of the session initiation request of the terminal based on that whether the initiation needing parameter is contained in the session initiation request of the terminal.
