Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zur Anbindung mobiler Kommunikationsgeräte an drahtlose Netzwerke in untertägigen Bauwerken umfasst eine Vielzahl von Basisstationen, die in Tunnelsystemen (11, 12) in einem räumlichen Abstand im wesentlichen in Richtung der Tunnelachsen voneinander angeordnet sind, so dass sich für jeweils zwei benachbarte Basisstationen (21, 22, 23) eine geringstmögliche Überlappung (25) der gemeinsamen Empfangsbereiche (16) ergibt. Dabei arbeiten alle Basisstationen (21, 22, 23) auf einem einzigen gemeinsamen Kanal. Bei einem dabei eingesetzten Verfahren schaltet die Mobilstation auf eine benachbarte Basisstation um, wenn ein Qualitätssignal unter einen vorbestimmten Schwellwert fällt.
