[3] The blackboard is made of a board by which the board is attached to a wooden frame and is painted and of the combination of a magnet and metal such that a chart, a tabular statement or chits can be attached thereon or displayed. There are various types of blackboards such as ones to be moved laterally or up and down. The blackboard is colored with dark green color, dark blue color, and/or dark brown in accordance with a school environment sanitary standard established by Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development of Republic of Korea in order to stabilize mental state, dark green color is most frequently used.
[4] Moreover, in order to execute teaching using various media in the classroom and the meeting room, a video display terminal is generally used.
[5] The video display terminal is one of output devices for a computer, and generally a monitor. Output data are mostly expressed by texts, symbols, figures, images, voices and the like. All the data except for the voice is seen by eyes and a device that displays these data is the video display terminal.
[6] There is a cathode ray tube as a typical video display terminal, and another video display terminals such as a general monitor, a CRT of a TV, a liquid crystal display (LCD), a thin film transistor LCD (TFT-LCD), a plasma display panel (PDP), a flexible display, and a head mounted display (HMD).
[7] The video display terminal is mounted at the front side of the classroom or the meeting room by being installed to a table or an accommodating box to be separately kept in custody.
[8] However, when a lecture using the video display terminal is carried out while audiences are not watching the front side but other side, the lecture becomes inattentive and due to this educational effect is poor.
[9] Moreover, when the lecture is carried out while writing on the blackboard and displaying an image on the video display terminal, eyes are scattered from the video display terminal to the blackboard on which the writing is carried out so that the attention of the audience lessens. [10] Furthermore, in a case when the video display terminal is disposed at a side, although audiences at the place facing the video display terminal can secure their eyes to the video display terminal so that they can give attention to the audiovisual lecture, audiences at one-side corner or at other corners not facing the video display terminal have a difficulty to secure their eyes to the video display terminal so that the attention lessens and it is difficult to carry out the audiovisual lecture.
[11] Moreover, in a case when the video display terminal is disposed at a side, since audiences watch in a tilted posture in which their head are turned, the audiences cannot take correct posture so that the spine and waist pain and various diseases occur.

[44] Additionally, a main blackboard 130 for writing is provided in the horizontal frames 110. Rollers 131 are provided to the upper and lower sides of the main blackboard 130 facing the rail recesses 111 so that the main blackboard 130 can slide along the rail recesses 111.
[45] In this case, the sliding main blackboard 130 enters inside the bulletin board 140 so that some of the front wall of the classroom can be exposed.
[46] The sliding main blackboard 130 may be divided into two parts about the vertical center line such that the two divided parts of the main blackboard 130 slide to enter inside the bulletin board 140 in both lateral directions along the rail recesses 111, and thus the central area of the front wall of the classroom is exposed.
[47] Furthermore, in the case where the bulletin boards 140 are installed to both the lateral sides of the wall, the front central wall is exposed and the bulletin boards 140 are concealed while the divided parts of the main blackboard 130 slide toward the both lateral sides. At that time, the main blackboards 130 can be still used to write on.
[48] Here, the main blackboard 130 and/or the auxiliary blackboard 160 may be a blackboard in dark green or dark blue, or a white board in which a marker pen is used for writing.
[49] On the exposed wall, in order to perform the audiovisual education using various media, a video display terminal 170 for displaying texts, symbols, figures, images, and sounds is provided.
[50] In addition, the video display terminal 170 may be provided in the rear side of the pivoting and spreading bulletin board 140.
[51] Here, a monitor, TV CRT, a liquid crystal display, a thin film liquid crystal display, a plasma display panel, a flexible display, and a head mount display may be used as the video display terminal 170.
[52] The operation of the blackboard having a video display terminal according to the present invention will be described as follows.
[53] Firstly, the lecture is carried out while writing on the main blackboards 130 when the lecture is carried out while writing on the blackboard without the audiovisual education.
[54] In addition, when the audiovisual education is carried out, the main blackboard 130 is slid toward the bulletin board 140 such that the other end of the main blackboard 130 is inserted into the rear side of the bulletin board 140 and the video display terminal 170 provided on the one side of the wall is exposed to the exterior.
[55] Like this, when the video display terminal 170 is exposed, texts, symbols, figures, images, and/or sounds are outputted so that the audiovisual education can be carried out. The complementary lecture for the displayed images is carried out while writing on a part of the main blackboard 130 which is not inserted into the rear side of the bulletin board 140.
[56] As described above, the video display terminal 170 is provided in the blackboard
100 of the classroom so that participants at the lecture can concentrate their eyes on the video display terminal 170 and the main blackboard 130 without the dead angle.
[57] Moreover, when writing on the main blackboard 130 is carried out for the complement of the image displayed on the video display terminal during the audiovisual education, the video display terminal 170 and the main blackboard 130 are in the same visual field so that the participants do not scatter their eyes but can concentrate their eyes on the image outputted from the video display terminal 170 and the main blackboard 130 on which the writing is carried out.
[58] Therefore, the video display terminal 170 for the audiovisual education and the main blackboard 130 on which the writing is carried out are located at the same place so that eyes can be oriented forward.
[59] Moreover, as illustrated in FIG. 3, when the main blackboards 130 slide toward the both lateral sides to expose the video display terminal 170, the two divided main blackboards 130 are slid toward the bulletin boards 140 such that parts of the divided main blackboards 130 are inserted into the rear sides of the bulletin boards 140 and the video display terminal 170 provided on the central wall is exposed. Thus, the audiovisual education can be carried out and parts of the divided main blackboards 130 are used to write on.
[60] As illustrated in FIG. 4, in a case where the bulletin board 140 installed to the other side of the blackboard pivots and the video display terminal 170 is exposed, the bulletin board 140 is usually used to attach a printed matter such as a time schedule for lectures, notices, and the like and, in order to carry out the audiovisual education, pivots about the rotation body 150 and is spread to expose the video display terminal 170.
[61] When the video display terminal 170 is exposed, the audiovisual education can be carried out and the writing is performed on the auxiliary blackboard 160 or the main blackboard 130 which are provided in the rear side of the bulletin board 140.
[62] Moreover, as illustrated in FIG. 5, in a case where the video display terminal 170 is installed on the rear surface of the bulletin board 140, the bulletin board 140 is usually used to attach a printed matter such as a time schedule for lectures, notices, and the like, and in order to carry out the audiovisual education, pivots about the rotation body 150 and is spread to expose the video display terminal 170. Thus, the participants can concentrate their eyes forward.
[63] Furthermore, as illustrated in FIG. 6, in a case where the bulletin boards 140 are provided on both the lateral side walls of the video display terminal 170, the divided main blackboards 130 are usually used to write thereon and the bulletin board 140 is usually used to attach a printed matter such as a time schedule for lectures, notices, and the like. In order to carry out the audiovisual education, the divided main blackboards 130 are slid toward both the lateral sides along the rail recesses 111 so that the video display terminal 170 is exposed and the bulletin boards 140 are concealed.
[64] At that time, since the main blackboards 130 are disposed in front of the bulletin boards 140, the main blackboards 130 can be used to write thereon as they are. When the bulletin boards 140 are concealed, the notices attached on the bulletin boards 140 are also concealed so that the participants can concentrate their eyes on the video display terminal 170 and the writing areas of the main blackboards 130.
[65]
Industrial Applicability
[66] As described above, according to the blackboard with a video display terminal of the present invention, the horizontal frames have the rail recesses and are installed to the upper and lower sides of a front wall of a classroom, the vertical frames support both sides of the horizontal frames, the bulletin board is provided at the other side of the vertical frames, the main blackboard, on which the writing is carried out, is provided on the rail recesses of the horizontal frames, the rollers are installed to the positions opposite to the rail recesses such that the main blackboard slides along the recesses toward the other side and enters inside the bulletin board to expose some of the wall of the blackboard, and the video display terminal is installed on the exposed wall to display texts, symbols, figures, images, and sound. Therefore, the dead angle is removed from the classroom so that the participants can secure the visual field and the audiovisual education can be improved.
