Abstract

La présente invention concerne une structure de corps de substrat pour écran plasma (PDP) qui peut prolonger la durée de service du PDP. Cette structure se compose d'un substrat et d'une électrode d'écran (13), d'une couche diélectrique (15) pour couvrir l'électrode d'écran, d'une couche intermédiaire (17) pour couvrir la couche diélectrique et d'une couche protectrice (19) pour couvrir la couche intermédiaire empilée dans cet ordre sur le substrat. La structure du corps du substrat se caractérise en ce que la couche intermédiaire comporte un écart de bande pas supérieur à 6,2 eV et, en même temps, elle comporte une concentration d'hydrogène pas supérieure à 2,5 × 1021 atomes/cc, ou le produit de l'écart de bande et la concentration d'hydrogène n'est pas supérieur à 1,5 × 1022 eV·atomes/cc.
