Abstract

The invention relates to packaging, mainly to boxes for packing flat products and can be used, in particular for placing a flat sealed packages of dental floss. Said invention eases the use of the box by making it possible to extract the flat packages piece by piece therefrom when a hinged cover is open and, once the box is used, to close the cover. The inventive box for flat products is made of a sheet blank which is divided by break lines into a top and side walls provided with flaps used for forming end walls and a bottom, comprises an insert which is made of a flat blank divided by break lines into a bottom and side walls which are provided with leaves used for forming end walls, wherein the bottom of the insert is provided with folds, which are divided by break lines and one of which is provided with two triangular flaps contacting with the internal surfaces of the side walls in such a way than an inclined surface is formed by a part of the fold, wherein the top and side walls of the box are provided with a common zigzag line of section which gradually translates into a loose line used for forming the hinged cover.
