Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un dispositif médical pour guider l'aiguille, de préférence, pour perforer une paroi ou membrane à l'intérieur du corps, de préférence, le septum inter-auriculaire dans le cœur, et/ou pour mesurer la dimension d'une ouverture à l'intérieur du corps, de préférence dans le cœur, au septum inter-auriculaire, ledit dispositif comprenant un fil enroulé dans une forme convexe-concave ou conique avec une extrémité proximale à l'extrémité étroite de l'enroulement et une extrémité distale à l'extrémité large de l'enroulement ; et un câble relié à l'extrémité proximale du fil enroulé pour atteindre le fil enroulé à un emplacement prédéterminé. Le fil du dispositif médical lors de l'introduction dans un cathéter accepte l'allongement du fil à partir de l'extrémité proximale dans une manière analogue à une onde et, lors de la libération ou du retour du dispositif médical hors du cathéter in vivo et/ou in vitro, le fil s'enroule et reprend sa forme convexe-concave ou conique initiale.
