Abstract

Support means for built-in assembly of electric boxes, intended for use thereof in assembly and fastening of an electric box in a partition or thin wall, characterised in that the basic element thereof is a clip, wherein an end of one branch presents a socket from which projects laterally a rigidly connected first arm on which the second branch of the clip is fitted by sliding means into a socket, with a view to locating the ends of said branches inside the electric box for sliding attachment thereof by means of distancing of said second branch of the clip from the first; a second arm perpendicular to the first arm is designed to be fitted by sliding means on the socket of the first branch of the clip; said second arm bears a socket end for passage of a telescopic rule adapted for setting between the roof and floor and enabling the clip unit to be immobilised with the arms at any height with respect to said telescopic rule; with the special features that the slide socket of the clip second branch, the slide socket of the second arm and the slide socket of the telescopic rule, have means for immobilising said mobile elements, that each branch of the clip is formed by two proximate and parallel elements, rigidly attached to the corresponding sockets while the immobilizing means provided for in the slide sockets, are in each case preferably formed by a prisoner screw crowned by a manual operating handle, and that moreover the arm rigidly connected to the socket of the fixed branch of the clip functions perpendicularly to the pairs of elements constituting the actual branches because of the optional feature of a levelling device for plumbing the telescopic rule and making the box horizontal in the built-in recess, and that the level device is preferably fitted to the passage socket of the telescopic rule.
