Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus (10) for supplying electrical power, which is provided by an electrical rechargeable power source (18), to electrically operated components (12, 14, 16) of a vehicle, in particular a passenger car, camping vehicle or special-purpose vehicle. According to the invention, provision is made for a further rechargeable power source (20) for supplying electrical power to the components (12, 14, 16) to be provided, said further rechargeable power source differing from the first power source (18) in terms of its charging capacity. The invention also relates to a method for supplying power to electrically operated components (12, 14, 16) of a vehicle.
