外側ケーシングと内側ケーシングとを具備したメインケーシングと；該外側ケーシングの開口部に装着されその一部分が物体表面に接触される外側シール部材と；該内側ケーシングの開口部に装着されその一部分が物体表面に接触される内側シール部材と；該メインケーシングと物体表面との距離を任意の距離に維持し且つ物体表面に沿って移動可能な手段；とを具備する、液体中に在る物体表面に密着しながら物体表面に沿って移動可能な装置において、該外側ケーシングと該外側シール部材と該内側シール部材とが物体表面と協働して第１領域（１１）を規定し、また、該内側ケーシングと該内側シール部材とが物体表面と協働して規定した第２領域（１２）を具備したことを特徴とする装置において、該第１領域（１１）に在る流体の圧力が装置を包囲する流体の圧力より低い圧力に維持されており、また、該第２領域（１２）に在る流体の圧力が該第１領域（１１）に在る流体の圧力より高い圧力に維持されている。
